Out on the Track

Remember this?
 Mondays after school
 at
Loeb Field, with friends
who enjoyed the "Running Club?"
Sunshine, wind,
inspiration, training tips,
challenge.....just pretty darn fun!

Thanks Mr. Jennings,
Mrs. Crawford, Mrs. Gray,
and Miss Shuff for your help & support!

It's time for "Family Reading Night!"

November 15th is finally here, hooray! #CommunityHappensHere

We're so very excited to share a
love of books & stories with everyone.....
Parkside's decked out for guests!
Who doesn't love "Captain Underpants?"
A world filled with books is our "happy place."
"Rump" inspired a 5th grade Wonderland!

Have you met "Dogman?"
His adventures are great!
We're enjoying the classics!
So many great stories......
to delight families and friends!
Books to read, stories to tell.
Inspired by reading, you know it's true!
A love of books lasts a lifetime.
Heroes in books can warm your heart.
"Pete the Cat" is one tale you can't miss!
What story will be the next one you read?
5th graders won't forget Spinelli's novel.
"The Keeping Quilt," a story of love & faith.
Reading, a "Superpower" for life!
So, so many great stories among us.....
Tales just waiting to be discovered by you!
3rd graders met Bixby Alexander
Tam in "A Boy Called Bat."  Have you?
4th graders took a trip to Narnia!
Don't forget the beloved "Wimpy Kid" tales.
Some of us jumped into biographies, yes!
"If You Give a Moose a Muffin," and more.......
We love tales of Sonic, the hedgehog.
Fun, fun, fun because "Fall is Not Easy!"
Kids of all ages really get into great books!
Great stories help usher in the holidays!
Who knows were good tales will lead us?

Opportunities with books are magical.
Thank you Miss Blythe for making
our "Super Reader Showcase" come alive!

Thank you for refreshments
served to all our guests during
our 2018 Family Reading Night!

Read On......

Writing notes can make "a difference."
Just ask Mrs. Stoelting about this
message that was left to her
pupils one night last week.
It signed by our janitor.

Science is Amazing!

It all began at a simple launch pad.
Nothing was going to keep
eager onlookers away on this cloudy, chilly day!
It was time for second graders
to send up their homemade rockets.
When it's your turn, Mr. Gray
helped each youngster at the booster.
Success.....and this little one runs
out into the soccer field to retrieve her missile.

Science & the questions it inspires is a beautiful beginning that begs to be continued!

Dream It, Do It......

Say "hello" to this fireman!
Red Ribbon Week found our students
dressing up as the kind of leaders
they'll be as adults.
How about teachers, dentists & nurses?
Visions of the day these friends will
be heros, detectives, and veterinarians.
Headed toward careers as cowgirls,
astronauts, superheros, and an engineers!
He'll be a professional waiter.
Looking forward someday to seeing policemen, pro athletes, anglers, attorneys, singers, royal princesses, reporters, and doctors.
Futures begin
with dreams and desire!
