I Take My "Mini-Me" Everywhere, See?

e·mo·ji

/ēˈmōjē/
  1. ~a small image or icon used to express an idea or emotion

Missing our pupils, some teachers have created their own emoji or "Mini-Me," inviting their students to share pictures of how times away from one another are going.
#FUN
Can you guess who the teachers are?
We have breakfast together.
Why not head outside to play?
Taking a tour of the barn.
Hello, hello to my teacher
on this
beautiful and sunny spring day!
Giggling with my teacher.
Opps, I meant her "Mini-Me."
We do daily lessons together from the packet.
Playing with bubbles
because study breaks are important.
Showing some "love" with my emoji.
My teacher and I take all kinds of adventures.
Sharing is caring!

How Lucky Are We!

The beginning of the week looks like this.
But behind these masks
there are so many stories
to tell....and we are listening to each one.
Uplifting messages with "Happy Hearts!"
Others that remind us:
"Keep your head up" and "Be kind."
Ones that offer such wonderful advice.
Beauty, shared for all to see.
Thank you....how lucky are we!

It's a "Family" Thing

"You have two hands.  One to help yourself,
the second to help others."
~Audrey Hepburn
That's the motto for those who enable lunches
to "happen" for Unit #20 youngsters.
It all starts in the cafeteria at Parkside.....
Wonderful things occur when you
decide to "play your part" in filling a need.

You'd think it difficult to deliver meals?
That no one would offer their assistance?
For our families, it's quite the opposite.
Our families are a link to
the past
and a bridge to the future.

Every meal
comes with a smile!

Thank you to the many who are
faithfully providing lunches to our students.

Inspiring

P
Projects students have imagined and created, using recycled materials this spring?
#Refreshing
How about turning packages like this....
into perfect containers for starting plants!
Creative minds really do inspire others.
"Creativity is intelligence having fun."
~Albert Einstein

They showed that you can reuse materials
and make something personal and brand new.
How about this Beyblade Stadium?
Perhaps we should honor our
planet by seeing that every day is truly
Earth Day.

"Things That Don't Change"

Thankfully some things do not change!

One is our admiration and
belief in each Parkside student and family.
Another is the creativity of our youngsters!
We can "see" and admire their many talents.
They "take charge" in learning new things!
It's tough being apart but the
dedication of caregivers, grandparents and other family members for our kids?
#Heartwarming

What about coming up with new ideas?
Our young people excel in turning their
visions into reality, again and again.

When you take the initiative to set a goal...
the finished product is a grand thing!
Yes, thankfully some things do not change.
