It's All About Challenge & Adventure

 March is a wonderful time and Parkside's the place to be, 

because "Read Across America" is always celebrated at school!

Leadership for us means taking chances, taking

charge in daily activities, and nurturing others along the way.

Dr. Seuss is always our inspiration!

By the way, we CRUSHED that 7,500
AR point "Reading Goal" thanks to the efforts

of boys and girls across all the grade levels at Parkside.

Rumor has it, we'll have to set a new goal so "stay tuned!"

Our leaders multi-task and enjoy a little "B & B."

History in the Making

 

We recognize the importance of artistic expression.

Creativity lies at the heart of true communication.

Annually pupils are invited to create messages showing
how they feel about the habits we practice 

in Parkside's  "Leader in Me" program.

We present to you the designs selected for this year.
 Artists painted them on large ceiling tiles.

This artwork will be a part of our history!

The beautiful colors and messages will "inspire" us all.

Through the eyes of our leaders, dreams are born.

We know the future lies in very capable hands.

Children help one another understand & practice the habits.  Imagine how these designs will carry us forward.

          Friday we had a special guest. 

         No, not a "brand new" student; it's Gabby.

                           It's not difficult to see why everyone
                          wants to "love on" this beautiful dog.

    "Oh Gabby, can you look up for a photograph?"

Miss Emily lets us in on her little secret. 

You simply say, "cookie" and Gabby's ready

to look at you and...... have a little treat, of course!
