Honoring Our Veterans

First, there was a dress rehearsal for a Parkside staff & student audience.

We were captivated by the program our 4th graders presented!

The entrance to the school was filled with flags that November afternoon.

Guests were to discover a "Wall of Celebration," for beloved veterans.
Thanks to Mrs. Amy Ryan and her students for helping create the display.

A memorable sight to behold, filled with many lives and stories.

As well, "A White Table," to honor those veterans that are loved and missed.

The stage was set for our talented fourth graders to serenade invited guests.

And sing the children did, voices lifted in beautiful harmony.

Storytelling too...of lands far away, and families missing their soldier or sailor.

A wonderful afternoon thanks to the children, Mrs. Mendenhall,
and our janitors who prepared the gymnasium for the performance.

Beautiful artwork adorned our hallway and each veteran was presented with gifts.

What Grand News!

Best wishes to our very own  Cara Atteberry,
honored as Unit 20's Educator of the Year.
Accompanied to the annual Chamber gathering
by Principal Julie Hayes, we couldn't be more proud!

who tugs and pushes and leads you on to the next plateau, sometimes
poking you with a sharp stick called truth."

3rd graders continue gathering data for their "Plant the Moon" project.

Relationships are a true "key to success."

Hooray, a surprise visit to us from Lawrenceville Indian football players!

Proud, proud, proud of the L.H.S. team & their coaches.

Student Lighthouse Team began discussions at their 1st meeting of the school year.
