'RED"y to Live a Drug Free Life

There can be no doubt....

Parkside was quite festive!

Youngsters at every turn...

Came dressed for success.

From head to toe....

Our motive is clear....

 It's Red Ribbon Week.
Like other students across the nation,
we support one another to live our best lives!

Saturday Smile

Cool air, leaves of gold & daily lessons we've been told.
Books to read, art to make yet October's nearly gone.
Grateful for the pupils who make our school special!

Thanks to Mrs. Ricker for creating these tees.

Accomplished Artists

Elijah's artwork depicting bus safety is one of three Unit #20 entries heading to nationals for judging alongside others from across the U.S.A.

Kyler was also honored to learn his original work is headed to nationals!

As well, Alexis' piece will be considered at the national level.

What wonderful news for our youth.
Congratulations, we're so proud of you!

"Art to Remember"

Our students have been busy creating individual drawings & paintings.  We
believe that their pieces are quite unique!

Yet once individuals finish their artwork,
it can be turned into a keepsake.
Mrs. Felty will be sending information
home about this
fundraising effort.
"Art to Remember" proceeds will help
provide books and supplies for youth to complete projects in Creative Literacy class.

Third Grade Olympics

The scene was set, under glorious skies!
We "wrapped up" lessons early in the week...
...and shared Friday with
 our classmates and teachers.
The weather cooperated, cool and sunny!
There was a balancing challenge...
to keep a cookie steadily in place.
     Mission accomplished, that treat disappears!
Fast, faster, fastest...
...far, farther, and farthest.
Cheers from the many fans, of course...
...and a good time was had by all.
"Together is Better!"
The month of October is off to a great start.
