Diamonds

#4for40
 Message Number 6

The relationships we create are like diamonds!
Leaders recognize the need to help others.
Greeting & collaborating with parents is so important.
Grateful are we for feeling pride in a "job well done."
Who doesn't feel "joy" is seeing someone who matters?

That's a Wrap

  #4for40

Thanks for joining us for the first full week
of classes during the 2025-2026 school year.

Our leaders do some daily lessons on personal computers.
This group looks ready to get started.
Parkside has several sections of 5th graders.
They're just discovering some stories in our new reading series.

Games, the Essential Advantage

  #4for40

Hello!  Wednesday happens to be day three of our adventure.
Please share Parkside's blog with others so they'll "be in the know!"
We know games do enable success!
We're building understandings of "place value."
Games give us advantages for problem solving.
Thanks...we're going to get back to the games.

Hello Tuesday!

  #4for40

Thank you for joining us on day two of our story, while
enjoying pictures from the first forty days of the school year.
It's good to know we have curious kids.
This baker was busy mixing dough for cookies.
Did you know PreK authors are among us?
Tuesday, the train conductor was very busy!

 #4for40

Join us at right here to celebrate a new year
with four pictures during the next forty days of school.

That first day was filled with lots of energy.

There was plenty of excitement.

Pupils have earned a spot for adventures.

Making Some History

Early in 2025, Miss Jaeleigh got us thinking.

What about a garden?  We liked her suggestion.

Teamwork we know, is necessary to make any dream work.
Mr. Baum jumped right in & supported us.
The Academic Foundation honored our grant request.
The process of filling garden beds began in April.
After spring break, classes began working outside.
It was "all hands" on the deck for this adventure.
#DirtyHands are part of the deal.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Shick invited pupils to design logos.
A project like this deserves a fine design.
Why not celebrate this adventure!
Teachers and kids alike were kept busy.
Finally the seedlings were transplanted outside
That idea of a "Garden Club" is now a reality...
...and we're grateful for all the support!
