groups to design crush
proof containers to protect eggs. The moment of truth came when their finished projects were
put to the test on the playground. Shown above are the students and their teacher
verifying the strength of the individual egg bundles from atop a playground slide.

Three of the four teams of students built containers that protected
the contents so well that the eggshells were not smashed in the fall!
