It's commonplace having substitutes in schools, at every grade. Professionals have sick days or commitments that take them away from their pupils. Our building is no exception.
Just last week a sub commented, "I was so very lucky and thankful to have good teachers when I was a child." That's "sweet music" to all who care about young people.
Those very words were uttered by a woman who was recently in our building. She subsequently discovered that another staff member sharing that conversation, had cared for her while she was a newborn. Truly, it's a small world! Beautiful are all the children..........
