The Things Kids Say!

In the Media Center Mrs. Steffey overheard a conversation between two kindergartners from Mrs. Mullen's class.  One child asked a classmate, "Are you new around here?"  The child replied back, "No, my mom had me a long, long time ago."

Addie:  "Did you hear about our babies?"
               No, what happened?
Addie:  "I found four tiny, new guppies in the tank yesterday!"
               Wonderful, I know you always remember to feed them.

Friday, August 31st will be the last day to order your Parkside Power T-Shirt!  Shirts are $10 and order forms have been sent home with all Parkside students and are also available in the front office!

When told that her child was eligible to join the PreK class, one
one mother said over the phone:  "You're kidding me!  This is the
beginning of my child's love of school and learning with Mrs. Bezy. 
Can I come over right now to register so she can start tomorrow?"

Meet Your Teacher Nights

We're excited about the start of a brand new school year and our first chance to gather is just weeks away.  Students, friends and families can meet Parkside staff and tour the school during two special events in August.  There will be information available about our Parent Teacher Organization and opportuities to ask any questions you may have.  We ask guests to use the west entrance of our building.  Please spread the word!
