dream of someday, just maybe.....winning
a lottery. He smiled and said, "I would love
to buy a Maserati with some of the money."
I agreed that having one of those cars would
really be something special.
He went onto explain that if he did get the chance to own a Maserati and then earn
his drivers license, he'd be eager to come
and get me in order to go out and "take
a spin" in his dream-machine.
Another youngster listening in on our little conversation was thinking. After a moment
the child turned to me and solemnly asked, "Which nursing home will you be in?"
