You Did WHAT in School?

Break out the "Pie Face" game;
why not give it a try together in class?

There could be a big surprise in store!
Even Mr. Seaney got into the act.

Sharpen the Saw

Mrs. Foster not only takes good care of
us at school,
she's also helping these
students perfect the skill of martial arts.

Exercising and getting plenty
of sleep is important for everyone!

Seek 1st to Understand

Fifth Graders joined family & friends
to express what they've learned together
 while participating in D.A.R.E.
Guess what?
They ask you to share your feelings
about D.A.R.E. through an essay.
You read your piece to classmates & guests.

Yet when dad steps up to present
the certificate of completion for
the program, it's a sweet surprise!

Seek first to understand,
and then be understood.

April's Community Cafe

The theme for the April event?
How about "Wise with the Habits!"
Second graders took "center stage."
They were ready to share many ideas.
 Mr. Jorge Garza from
 FranklinCovey
was one of our special guests.
We're proud to let others know
that Parkside is a great place to grow.
Two other special guests that
day were Mrs. Hearn and Mrs. Loeb.

We know the future lies in the hearts and
minds of  capable, strong &
thoughtful young people.

plant now, you will harvest later."

Sharpen the Saw

It's cool to discover something new every day!
We learn in lots of ways and in
lots of places, not just at school.
