A.M. Personalities

Lots of smiling faces greet you in
the gym or hallways, each morning.
It's a beautiful way to begin the day.
Some students sit and read
or quietly visit with friends and family.
Others help kids get out
pieces of equipment for play time.
It's a nice way to start the school day.
The more, the merrier!
Good, good morning!

"Early Birds" are a part of
Parkside's Extended Day program.

And They're Off

Fourth and fifth graders headed to Ed Loeb
track & field for the 1st meeting of
Parkside's
"Running Club."
Members began with
some stretching exercises.
Learning the safest ways
to prepare for a run is important.
It was a beautiful day for our first outing!
Members "checked in" so their
total laps could be accounted for.
Quite a warm and sunny start
to our season; a
good time was had by all!
#ThanksVolunteers:
Mr. Jennings, Mrs. Crawford,
Mrs. Gray, and also Miss Shuff.

Yes, This Happened!

It all started with sweet smiles on
Parkside's "Meet-Your-Teacher" night.
Many new folks to meet and greet!
Farewell to that summer break.
It's the moment to welcome our customers.
Ah, time for "fresh"
classrooms,
friends, and adventures.

We appreciate support from
all those moms and dads out there!
Meeting your new teacher is a big deal.
Headed in the right direction, oh yes!
It was great seeing all our families.
Guess who came & greeted us
all, on that first full day of classes?
Thanks Mayor Don Wagner!
All "hands on deck,"
bright and early that morning.
Welcoming the day
with more sweet smiles.
A hug or two helped, to be sure.
Even teachers take
"first day" photographs.
It looks like our students are
headed for full, interesting adventures.
Please make sure to follow us
here at "Shining Moments," all year!
#ThankYou
