      No doubt... our cafeteria staff is THE best!

     Mask breaks mean some fresh air & fun...

     ...along with messages written in sunshine.

Lots of joy here, can you tell?

Before you know it, another busy day ends.

Wonderful Wednesday- 9/23/2020

We believe in nurturing our pupils;

thankfully volunteers agree.  Many adults

buy books monthly, for every child in the class.   

We believe in projects that are fun,

and kids enjoy them every single day at school.

We believe in stimulating the imaginations

of youth.  This is a brand new dinosaur.

Don't you agree it's creative?

We believe practicing handwriting can

improves hand-eye coordination for kids, 

especially when shaving cream's involved.

Our young leaders remind us

of how very blessed we are, for
being in the "business of education."

Mrs. Banks helped us celebrate "Curiosity Day" with George, a favorite friend whose antics 

have entertained readers for 79 years!

Championing Learners is What's Important

Colleagues are a wonderful thing.  Yet
mentoring, that's where the real work gets done.

Marissa Routien will soon complete 

her  Bachelor's Degree in Elementary

Education, from Eastern Illinois University.

We welcome Miss Routien as she
 completes student teaching alongside
 Mr. Samuel Mikeworth.  As a

child, math was her favorite subject.

Mr. Mikeworth teaches 3rd grade,

coming to education after studying & 

performing professionally in the
theater.  He's passionate about projects.

Did we mention she's a dog
lover and adores Ruger & Wrigley?

He's wild about this duo of dachshunds, 

Miss Phyllis Vance & Mr. Dunder Mifflin.
