As well, have authors present their
illustrations & graphics for the story.
It's both challenging and creative!
This special day was a "Writer's Showcase."
Second graders researched, created, and
then published three pieces. Authors selected two of their works to read aloud for guests.

One essay included an informational piece
about volcanoes, as a part of their science unit.
Writing well involves thinking well;
that's always a goal worth reaching for!
